a fix is applied. Other than that, it doesn't hurt to run cvsup
over your src tree once a week. There's only need to do a buildworld if
any files are updated. It's a strategy that works well for me, anyway.

try the attached rcNG file I just did create it a couples
of days ago. It is not perfect but the file does its job.
You'll need to add the following lines to /etc/rc.conf
privoxy_enable=YES
privoxy_flags=/usr/local/etc/privoxy/config

i've been asked by my company to put together a basic cd that can install a
basic freebsd5 system just by putting in the disc and turning it on. it'd
have to have a base number of packages and be configured for networking etc
at bootup etc.
but here's the problem. i'm a gentoo-linux guy.

At each subsequent upgrade, the configured set of options will be passed
to the ports system.
I find this aspect of portupgrade very useful.
