I'm not sure what I did - I was experimenting in sshd_config. sshd began
to permit logins without benefit of password.
When logging in (I'm using putty from a local windows machine) I enter

In reference to the problem posted earlier about libphp5.so,
after a reinstall of php4 - the same error results from libphp4.so
Perhaps the problem lies in apache?

I've been trying to get java installed for some months now and I can't
get past the point shown below. It seems that the port is looking for an
already installed version of java. I've looked at various how-tos, and
the java pages at freebsd.org, but no help. Is there some way around
this catch-22?

I was installing the lang/gambas port. It uses math/ldouble as a dependancy.
Problem is, ldouble refuses to install saying

This system is currently running ZFS filesystem version 3.
All filesystems are formatted with the current version.
and:
zpool upgrade
This system is currently running ZFS pool version 14
(with appropriate rule).
Other ports are reachable including a non-standard port used for ssh.
The question: Could there be any reason that port 6667 might be blocked?

I've implemented S/Key on my 5.2.1 system. It works well with telnet, but
ssh just bypasses the whole thing and accepts the Unix password. How can I
get ssh to recognize and use S/Key auth? I don't see any entry in
sshd_config nor in the handbook.
