know if there is any simpler way of using sound cards containing either a
Realtek ALC262 chip or a Via ENVY24 chip than installing the Linux

Good morning dear person at FreeBSD questions. I am trying to install
FreeBSD 5.3 on a Compaq Proliant 5000 with multiple Pentium Pro processors
and SMART-SCSI 2/P hardware RAID array. It contains a flash-ROM BIOS. The
BIOS does not follow the conventions of fixed-ROM BIOSes such as are
install
. I am unable to find, in the man
page for this pseudo-device-driver, the acronym to insert into the
configuration file to have it loaded into the operating system. Any
