The way this post has degenerated I think demonstrates exactly what the original poster was trying to say. Somehow the replies became fixed on his comment about use of language. I think what he was really trying to get at is the lack of being able to support a point of view from a logically constructed argument with reference back to the original question. If you read the last post and the first post you could wonder if the two have anything to do with each other. I believe he was saying that it is not too hard to proof read a post and ask yourself does this follow from the original topic. Just to throw my 2cents in, I'm on alot of mailing lists and forums with people, who's Mother tongue is not English. I really have to admire these people who have to deal with a language other than their own. I can't speak their language tho I have taken classes in Spanish, and lived around Spanish speaking people. I realize it must take alot of effort to get across technical questions and ideas in another language than one's own. They obviously do a heck of alot better than I could. I imagine it takes much less effort on my part to decipher what they are saying, than it is for them to say it. I can deal with it. Let them speak however best they can! problems which I correct, as you can see if you compare Alain's
original post to my answer, and (B) "missing" or "changing" THE
