Re: [Freeipa-users] Client Install - I'm clueless
Thanks go to both you and Dmitri Pal for responding to me. When I got your messages I decided to do a clean install and capture the errors for you and, wouldn't ya know it, they worked fine. :) On Thu, Apr 17, 2014 at 06:27:37PM -0400, Rob Crittenden wrote: Dmitri Pal wrote: On 04/17/2014 01:52 PM, Lincoln Fessenden wrote: Hi folks! Different errors though. 6.5 errors out after sending xml to the ipa-server and 5.10 right after I provide the domain name. Since both of these machines are new installs and current for the release, I have got to believe I am missing something somewhere - some missing software dependency? Please check your DNS, /etc/hosts, etc. Can you provide any client install logs? That would really help. Also http://www.freeipa.org/page/Troubleshooting might be helpful. Yes, seeing the errors would be quite helpful too, the more context the better (/var/log/ipaclient-install.log). rob ___ Freeipa-users mailing list Freeipa-users@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/freeipa-users -- Lincoln Fessenden Jeff-IT Production Operations Manager Senior Linux Systems Administrator 215-503-0986 The information contained in this transmission contains privileged and confidential information.
