it seems to be an issue related to Supermicro.
Query a HP-Server:

2400: CPU1 Therm-Trip (Processor): [State Deasserted]

Sharad,
IPMI specification doesn't have any standard naming convention. It is upto
the vendors to choose meaningful common names.
Like Gregor posted, you can use "-g Module/Board" instead.

I have worked on several supermicro motherboards before, and my
recollection is that none have supported memory sensors. A few (but not
all) support some processor or module-board sensors. It's possible
you're out of luck for those sensors on your motherboard.

Hmm.. it looks like your sensor data repository (SDR) itself
has only few entries. It is possible that your IPMI BMC only
supports basic sensors, or you will need a SDR firmware update.
