Can't burn disc skipped operation.

I have a G5 Dual 2.7 with 10.5.8 and when I try to burn a DVD with disk Utility I get an error that states "can't burn disc user skipped operation" I can burn using Toast 7, 8, and 10. The burners I have are Pioneer 118L . Anyone else seen this? John Carmonne Yorba Linda CA 92886 USA MacBook
