Jane, I would give LogMeIn a try. The lite version IS free, and it seems to do all you need --slapping your hubbie's hand every time he does the triple click dance will have to be postponed till you are home… :-) I checked on TeamViewer, out of curiosity, and couldn't find a free option at all.
