Thanks Jeremy
I've given up on that approach to nested workflows - too inefficient,
too fragile. If I have lots of time (and a grad student to help out)
I've got some ideas about having a deep look at the tool runner side of
Galaxy with an eye to efficiently implementing the mapping of input data
Hi all,
currently I face some strange behaviour of the tool panel in Galaxy if I
add top-level label tags to the tool_conf.xml. The problem is that the
labels stay forever, even if I remove them again from the tool_conf.xml
and they also appear three section earlier than where I put them.

Thank you Jeremy,
you answered partially. I would like insert a command, to launch my script,
in the script or in the xml files of my tools to force it to change the
extension of output files.
But it seems impossible because my command perl after the command of tool's
script doesn't work
Hello Sarah,

Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that there's now a seperate file
to organize everything.
However, it still seems to have some problems when installing tools from

Hi all,
I have a similar, maybe related problem. I'm running a configuration as
described at
http://wiki.g2.bx.psu.edu/Admin/Config/Performance/Web%20Application%20Scaling.
I have three webservers, one manager and two handlers. Everything is
behind an Apache and the rewrite rules are set

But this script sets in entry the variable $wigoutput of my file xml. But
when I show it, it's not what I want; It's just the value : 1 .
Glad it helped.
About configuring Galaxy to use port 8080, other than what you are
already doing, checking for another process already using the port, I
wouldn't know what to recommend.
About the balancing configuration, I haven't done it, so I don't have
much to help with that. I do think it

Hi,
I've created a few workflows and have been having issues with some steps
randomly failing. This would not be an issue if I could simply resume the
workflow from the failed step, but it seems that this is not possible. Instead,
I'm forced to restart the workflow from the beginning. Is
Hello,
