I was just going to suggest You Don't Know Jack. Granted they're not completely accessible (some of the different types of questions do require some measure of sighted assistance), but the amount of material that is accessible due to the amount of dialogue in the game is quite impressive.

Just keep track, in your mind, of where you are. If you go north, then east, then south, then west, then north, you'll be going in the same direction you started. That's part of the fun of a text adventure--solving it. If the game is too easy, what value will it have in the future? None.

That's definitely true. Probably you missed the ships because you forgot, as I did, to calculate one basic variable--that of lead time. If you're under a moving ship and fire, you will miss every time because the ship is moving. You have to get a bit to the left or right side of it depending
