Hi Thomas, wow, I wasn't aware Win 8 was as crazy as that.
I thought they were supposed to be doing a big push for accessibility and are
supposedly developing their own screen reader a'la Voiceover?… Yes?…
Anyway, on the subject of Mac / iOS, remember that all the dev tools are free

Playroom 1.7 is facultative at the moment, but it will become mandatory
in a couple of weeks.
But playroom 1.6 never crashed with skype. Anyway, glad to hear that the

Hi,
Ok, since the arrow keys are working, it is definitely not the Jaws thing.
Okay, I had him try to run the actual .exe file of a game in the Program
Files X86 Jim Kitchensinc folder and he still cannot click on the menu
options. He can arrow through them, but when he hits the enter key, nothing
happens.

It could be that his SAPI voice is not set correctly to play Jim's games.

Unfortunately, that won't work as Jim's games are set up to allow

Hi Cara,
Yes, Microsoft is working on improved accessibility by updating Narrator

VoiceOver quality. Although, some of the new voices like Microsoft David

Hi,
Weather the game is installed or not probably doesn't have anything to
do with it. Keep in mind the RS Client and Quentin's Playroom are not
written in Visual Basic. I think whatever is wrong with your friend's
games probably has to do with a Visual Basic compatibility issue with Win 7.
It is just so weird, I am running the same, windows 7, 64 bit and all works

Hi,
No, that wouldn't be an issue here. Windows 7 comes with the latest
version of directX 8, and when Winkit is installed it adds the proper
Visual Basic libraries as well. So DirectX isn't the issue here.

On that note I don't know why ms just gets rid of its magnifier and

To be honest trouble, its my view that fs and others, no especially
fs would sue ms for taking their market if they actually made narator
more than the crap that it is and always must be.
In fact rumor has it that when they decided to do that in win2k fs
did just that though its only a rumour.
