Well if you look at materiamagica's homepage, there is a question in the faq
dealing with sounds and where to download them, but goodness knows where you
put them in mushclient or what you do next.
In vipmud you just bang them in the sounds folder.

get a clearer understanding of what a mud is. In short, it's not a game you
download. It's a game
Google is your friend here. I assume you use windows and I cannot help
you if you do because the mud clients I use are Linux based.
However, zmud is a popular one. So is gmud.
