the only other one I know of is agrip.org. Even when I tried an invalid server, say just typing junk, I would get connecting and then an error but I don't get the connecting to server address message at all. I uninstalled the old version and loaded the new one but no luck. At 09:39 a.m.

This is due to the world war 2 extention of quake. if you are registered, rename sounds.pak to pak2.pak, backup the old pak2.pak first. If you use the shareware version then pak2.pak is pak1.pak. if you have pak2.pak, and name the ww2 sounds.pak pak3.pak then you get this message. read the
