I'm looking for a suggestion on a good dos emulator that I can run. I tried
one called dosbox and they show how to mount a drive but I can't seem to
get it working. I'm sure there are lots of emulators out their but I
thought I'd ask here. I'm running xp-pro here. Thanks.

I have enjoyed your games, Jim, for several years, and I have to say
that this latest is really a great addition to anyone's computer games
collection.
Here is my records file. It is somewhat less impressive.
Record number of enemy planes shot down

I agree there. I remember getting up to level 39 and thinking when will this
end! Same with light cars. It just keeps going and going and going...

Yes I have written to them to find out. Not only that because our power
is different to yours in terms of voltage, I'm wondering if they can
compensate for that. Because I would dearly love an atari I had one
years ago and stupidly sold it.

That I couldn't tell you. I just know that they use PayPal. I don't see why
they wouldn't deliver to the UK though.

Hi Darren,
Well, at present the entire game is 67 MB. It was larger before, but I
decided to reduce the audio quality from 44100 KHZ to 22500 KHZ in order
to make the game installer smaller plus it won't take up as many system
resources on your computer hardware.
As ffar as actual length I guess
is it possible for me to jump on board this team as a mac user?

Hi thomas,
Do you have a private beta program which people can register and apply for
like companies sutch as FS do? Or is it just an invitation only thing. if it
was a registration thing like FS, i'd've been interested to get on board.

Hi Will,
Yes, Mysteries of the Ancients is the game that
will be offered as a
replacement for Montozuma's Revenge once the game engine and game play
is complete. I am currently doing a pretty extensive rewrite and upgrade
of the side-scroller engine to make it Ma
Do they deliver to the UK? And will they work in the UK?

Hi,
Yeah, I recently purchased a membership for AllInPlay. I am very impressed
with your games, though I still don't know how to play Poker or Holdem

community, who have so far treated me like a brother.
Thanks.

The site is www.atariace.com, and it's fairly screen reader friendly. They
sell Atari, Nintendo and Sega games, consoles and controllers. Their prices
are slightly steep but it's well worth it as far as I'm concerned. I've nere
yet gotten a faulty product from them, which just goes to show how m

Sounds great tom! So how large do you think this game will be by the end
of it? By the sounds of it, it's not something that's going to be
completed in 5 minutes. At last I hope not I really don't like them

That sounds cool. I look forward to te time you'll be able to devote more
time to it. Interestingly enouh though, I found a web site that sells
classic video gmes including the old Atari, and I could have sworn I've seen
Monte there a few times. I've thought about buying it but as I recall the
Hi Nicol,
As for the name of the new side-scroller its oficial name is Mysteries
of the Ancients. The private testers and I decided this would be the
best title for the new side-scroller, and I have no plans of renaming
the project at this point. I am personally quite satisfied with the new

Hi Jim,
Coolness. As soon as I get my joystick from my apartment I will have to
try out this new version of Puppy1. I have to confess I am rather taken
by this game. Grin.

Hi Lindsay,
Generally, speaking any of the Inform and Adrift games are all
accessible. As for interpreters it depends on what os you want to play
them on, but I will assume here you are using Windows. For Windows I
recommend winfrotz for Inform games and you can either use Adrift 4.0 or

Hi THOM
I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT USING THE WORD MONTIZUMA MIGHT CAUSE YOU TO LAND IN
HOT WATER BUT CERTAINLY IT WON'T HURT IF YOU KEEP THINGS IN THE GAME THE
SAME AS MONTIZUMA'S REVENGE.
ONE ITEM WHICH I LIKE A LOT IS THE MAGICAL POTIONS.
HOW ABOUT CALLING them amulets in your new side scroller.
