Secret of Mana happens to be a game that would be very difficult to make
accessible, even on a computer.
And when doing so an accessible game author would likely make heavy use of
extra shortcut keys for the player to ge

You can even rename the OpenAL Soft dll to OpenAL32.dll and use it as a drop in
replacement for OpenAL.
The only differences I read about were HRTF support and some extra filter
support.

I recently decided to switch from DirectSound to OpenAL Soft.
I did this for 2 reasons:
1 Because OpenALSoft has built in HRTF support.
2 Because OpenAL Soft is cross platform.
