Re: [Audyssey] AGM health building block
Or, heck, you could do both. Set up items or triggers that would increase your health, triggers linked to timers so they don't just blow your health through the roof and items that may respawn. One problem is that there is not a max health value. This could be solved by the triggers thing though as they could use 100 as a constant and compare that to the player health to cause activation. I for one agree with you that it shouldn't cause health damage by just merely walking into the wall. However, Charles's suggestion does make a little more sense in the context it was given in. Which was if you jump and hit a wall you should lose health. This makes practical sense since all the walls of the temple are stone walls, and if someone hit the wall with enough speed and force it could injure the person possably breaking bones or knocking them unconscious. Same goes if the person is running. If you are running flat out and hit a stone wall you are going to be really hurting by the time you pick yourself up off the ground. If you didn't hit your head and knock yourself out that is. (Grin) ___ Gamers mailing list .. I myself am just hoping for the .zip file to stay, and have a .exe file version as well. Take AGM on a spin in a car inside of a thumb drive! I wonder if AGM could even go on Mobile devices, like the Maestro or the pacmate one day as well. - Original Message - From: Josh [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Saturday, August 04, 2007 6:14 PM Subject: [Audyssey] AGM health building block Hi, I think in the next version of AGM there should be a health building block as well so the player can gain and loose health in certain games where needed. Re: [Audyssey] AGM health building block
you can make health items in the game, just set a trigger that increases health when the player collides with it. With some forethought, most things you need for a simple game can be done with AGM.
