Just a guess, I have no experience with this type of thing, but wouldn't a vm help here? You could run a vm with win98 or somesuch, and limit the processor. Also, if your running a machine that has multiple cores, you can disable up to all but one via msconfig. --- Gamers mailing list __

Hi Michael, Those games use the PC speaker. As many computers no longer have one, and the sound output isn't rerouted to the soundcard there is no way to get access to the sounds. Besides that the speed of modern processors are so fast that even if you can get access to the sound it won't sound
