Hello,
To all of you out there who like muds, there are a couple of space
based muds called cosmos and miriani. If anyone plays these muds,
which do you like better. I like miriani better than cosmos hands
down! It's more up to date, and has a tons more features and
activities than cosmos. It can keep you playing for hours. There are
far more people on miriani than cosmos and it's more active and fun.
For those who donate to miriani and cosmos, donating to miriani is so
much better! With miriani, if you donate, you sure get your money's
worth! There are so many cool things you can do and get that donators
can't. Cosmos, on the other hand, you hardly get any donator
binifits. And most of all, I like miriani better than cosmos because
it is a lot more stable! I have only found one bug in miriani but a
ton of errors on cosmos. I think the hosts of miriani are a lot more
on top of things and are a lot more aware of bugs and errors. This is
just my opinion. So what do you think. For people who have never
heard of these muds, here are some links. For miriani, go to
toastsoft.net. For cosmos, go to trekgames.net. Katie

However, I agree about the stability thing holeheartedly. Cosmos switches
hosts and goes up and down a lot more. Then again cosmos hosts are also a
lot younger and haven't been around for as long; the fact that he started
at
the age of 15 is quite an accomplishment, imho, and the fact that he's
taken

so much critisism and didn't back down is something to be proud of, too.

Again this is just my oppinion.

Oh yeah. Monkey Term ftw - I don't really care what anyone says.

Hello,
To all of you out there who like muds, there are a couple of space
based muds called cosmos and miriani. If anyone plays these muds,
which do you like better. I like miriani better than cosmos hands
down! It's more up to date, and has a tons more features and
activities than cosmos. It can keep you playing for hours. There are
far more people on miriani than cosmos and it's more active and fun.
For those who donate to miriani and cosmos, donating to miriani is so
much better! With miriani, if you donate, you sure get your money's
worth! There are so many cool things you can do and get that donators
can't. Cosmos, on the other hand, you hardly get any donator binifits.
And most of all, I like miriani better than cosmos because it is a lot
more stable! I have only found one bug in miriani but a ton of errors
on cosmos. I think the hosts of miriani are a lot more on top of
things and are a lot more aware of bugs and errors. This is just my
opinion. So what do you think. For people who have never heard of
these muds, here are some links. For miriani, go to toastsoft.net. For
cosmos, go to trekgames.net.
Katie

2009-12-11 Thread Tristan
Although Cosmos has switched servers a lot; I do believe we've found our
home. And as for Miriani being better, it may be better, but you must keep in
mind that Cosmos has been in private alpha since the last quarter of 2007 and
in the second quarter of 2009 it truly opened up to the public as a public beta
test

Hi

For one, Miriani is prone to a lot more people blowing you up for no reason.
While on cosmos, you can relax and you don't always have to be on alert.
This is why I like out of locals on Miriani. However, the head host, Albori,
hates out of comms (he said so on a board post - I can get the reference
number if you don't believe me). Also just a lot of idiotic people stunning
and stranding you, want money and such.
However, I agree about the stability thing holeheartedly. Cosmos switches
hosts and goes up and down a lot more. Then again cosmos hosts are also a
lot younger and haven't been around for as long; the fact that he started at
the age of 15 is quite an accomplishment, imho, and the fact that he's taken
so much critisism and didn't back down is something to be proud of, too.

Again this is just my oppinion.

2009-12-11 Thread Mauricio Almeida
Katie! You 're my hero for the day!
I have been trying to make all those points in this list for ages. while
i do give the hosts of cosmos credit, I have to say miriani is a way
more developed game.
If i may ask your contacts (skype, msn, etc), you can answer privately.
I ask because i know over 275 miriani players after 3.5 years playing,
and I love knowing new folks from there.

Hello,
To all of you out there who like muds, there are a couple of space
based muds called cosmos and miriani.

[Audyssey] cosmos versus miriani?

2009-12-10 Thread Katie Madison
Hello,
To all of you out there who like muds, there are a couple of space
based muds called cosmos and miriani.

Re: [Audyssey] cosmos down?

2009-12-07 Thread Nick Helms
thanks. so it isn't only me, then.
I wonder what's going on, because the hosts didn't mention the game
going down for any reason when I got off last night. I conclude then,
that an announcement must have been made this morning or sometime
today and I missed it, seeing as I was at school.
Hope it will be back up soon!
best,
Nick
