That's odd. I was having the same problem but it works just fine for me now
that I cleared the older stuff out of that folder. I wonder why he could
still be having issues.

Hi Shaun,
Thanks. I'm not precisely sure what is wrong, but I am looking into the

Hi Shaun,
Yeah, it definitely isn't the save game files themselves causing the
problem. Bryan sent me his, I copied it iinto the application data
directory, and it fired right up. So something else is screwed, but it
isn't the code or the sav file itself at fault here.

however the fact that the game will still not load and say its unavalible is
weird.
Interestingly after I start a new session and then exit to the main menu I can
load the saved game no trouble.
This suggests that its not the saved game itself that is the issue.

Re: [Audyssey] Possible solution to MOTA loading problem.

2009-06-14 Thread Thomas Ward

Hi all,
Bryan is right. I tested his theory myself and as soon as I copied the
contents of the 0.10.0.0 folder to an earlier version such as 0.9.0 the
game would crash when saving and loading games as described. If you are
having problems crashing when restoring saved games do the following.

1. Open your application Data directory. For Windows XP users this is
c:\Documents And Settings\User Name\Application Data.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7 users this
c:Users\User Name\Application Data.
Open the USA Games Interactive directory, and open the Tomb Hunter
Mysteries of the Ancients program data directory. Now, delete all the
contents in that directory. Restart the game and everything should work
fine.

Smile.
