[Audyssey] fallthru again!
Hello. After somebody brought it up on the audiogames.net forum, I rather fancied retrying tthis game sinse it's got one of the largest and most explorable maps ever! I have however run into a couple of snags. I managed to get the silver key from the hole in the wall maze (with some help from bladestorm), but after wandering the map have determined what I next need to progress are a weyring and some rubies. So firstly, I've got quite a lot of cash, is there a place it can be changed for rubies? Then, where precisely is that blasted grassy mound with the leaches cave in near odetn. I'm told it's south west, but I go south west and d it doesn't turn up which is irritating in the extreme, and that's even before I've got in there! Any advice from someone who's finished the game would be much appreciated, also I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves exploring and an epic feeling in the game. Though the parza and item handling is rather clunky, it does make up for it hugely in world, story, exploration and freedom. Beware the Grue! Re: [Audyssey] fallthru
Shame textmode isn't working, they'd certainly been up a while when i uploaded fallthru from there. I've zipped it however and stuck it on sendspace though you can find it at http://www.sendspace.com/popup_directlink.html Unusually for me, I didn't seem to have the streight zipped version I downloaded originally myself from textmode, so had to just delete the and sssl files with my saved game, then zip the hole thing. If you create a new game and start streight off it should be fine though. if text mode doesn't come back soon, perhaps someone would be kind enough to host the file more perminantly. Beware the grue! Re: [Audyssey] fallthru advanced stuff
Ok, lets see what I can do here. Possible spoilers below. The end point of the silver maze could be where the frabat is. It's the room that has a tomb in it. As for what to do there, if you haven't seen the tip since its random, I can tell you that if I remember correctly, one of the peasants claims that the key is "Under" the silver maze. You'll need a tool here that's used very seldom in the game. though how a peasant found out that the key was down there and why he didn't claim it for himself is beyond me, *grins*. As for the weyring maze, that one's a bit trickier. You can always get into the maze, the tough part is getting back out. Given that this one's just frustrating if you don't know the mechanic, if you haven't already figured it out I'll just tell you that you need to have full health to be able to turn the rusty wheel. You'll have to keep a lot of salve handy to accomplish this, since that maze saps health like noone's business. Once you've turned the wheel, I've found the best way to get back to the entrance is actually, surprisingly, to wander aimlessly, since the go in a single direction mechanic doesn't seem to apply here. But once you get back out, the weyring is yours. Hth, and hope you decide to take up the game again. -- From: "dark" Sent: Thursday, April 02, 2009 11:40 PM To: "Gamers Discussion list" Subject: Re: [Audyssey] fallthru advanced stuff Yep, the silver maze indeed is one of them. [Audyssey] fallthru advanced stuff
I have been playing fallthru, which you can find at http://ascii.classicgaming.gamespy.com/download_files/fallthru/fallthru.html which will hopefully save the many questions of: where can I get it, what is it, and other obvious stuff like that. I want to ask people who have played or who are currently playing the game. What do I do? I'm not refering ot the obvious question of commands and stuff. it's more along the lines of where do I go? I started a character, went northeast from or'gn, and found an awesome hunting spot. I've been hunting food and selling it to a farm that just happens to be right next to my hunting spot. I'm at about day 13, and I know at the 15th day, the felvin will come out to play. When do I eventually start doing other things, and what would those things be? I guess I'm asking for blaytant spoilers. Also, with the massive geography, I have no idea where anything is. hi, where i can get this game? -Mensagem original- De: "Shadow Dragon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Para: Data: Terça, 12 de Agosto de 2008 09:54 Assunto: [Audyssey] Fallthru I seem to recall the subject of fallthru coming up a while back. Mostly I'm looking for how to get the wherering, I think I've found the cave where it's at, but if I try to turn the valve it always says I'm too weak. Also, is there any way in game to get amulets aside from stealing them? And do either the bronze or silver rings do anything? Mostly I've been wandering around the various roads defeating warriors, building up a small fortune in ralls and looking for things to do without much luck. I'd rather not set off blindly into the wilds t hough without a wherering. Anyway, I like the game a lot, but killing random warriors can only get you so far, *chuckles*. I seem to recall the subject of fallthru coming up a while back. I finally got a copy of it to work on my system, and it's a pretty sweet game. I can't really seem to get anywhere though. I managed to get to the treasure room unst Slavhos, that was easy. But every other dungeon I've tried has either been a massive ungodly huge maze, or has had some odd think about it that prevents adventuring in it for long. If there's anyone still subscribed who used to play, any chance you could give me some tips? Mostly I'm looking for how to get the wherering, I think I've found the cave where it's at, but if I try to turn the valve it always says I'm too weak. Also, is there any way in game to get amulets aside from stealing them? And do either the bronze or silver rings do anything? Mostly I've been wandering around the various roads defeating warriors, building up a small fortune in ralls and looking for things to do without much luck. I'd rather not set off blindly into the wilds though without a wherering. Anyway, I like the game a lot, but killing random warriors can only get you so far, *chuckles*. Any help would be welcomed and greatly apreciated. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org.
