I know that when I go into Kitchensinc it don't even make the pop sound
that it normally makes when it starts up.
Could it be something with the sound?

try installing espeak from espeak.sf.net/test/latest.html or google
espeak test latest it'll come up.
then try setting it as default just type text to speech in the search
box and the control panel dialog for tts should come up0 where you can
set default tts and stuff.

I can't get my neospeech to work with the kitchensinc games. However I
can get it to work with narrator. I set the voice as my default voice
but when I go into the kitchensinc program I don't get any voice
