i would like to add to this, when you kill a zombie, the death sound
carries on so you think there is another zombie coming for ya and i
tend to shoot a few more bullets to make sure that is not the case
hense waisting amo. also, could we not have a defined radar for
targeting them critters? i find i waist as many shots trying to hit
the thangs just as much as finishing them off. i have noticed in the
latest version as well when hunting the other players shots can be a
little distracting especially when trying to line up a kill. fantastic
game as always.

I must again add my vote to some kind of aiming aid - as I did in the past - 
for those of us with hearing loss, or just can't aim as well in some other 
cases.
Granted I'm now getting to the point that I can hold my own quite well, my 
rating is still around 40% at best cause it usually takes me 4 shots to line 
up the target properly- 40 shots if it's a darn dog lol.

You can raise the volume of the zombie footsteps. This will 
damage the clarity, but if done right really does help aiming.

I just did a couple of minutes on the offline map with an earplug in
one ear as a sort of rudimentary simulation, and damn it's hard!

Raising the zombie footstep volume using J to increase and Shift-J to
decrease did help quite a bit, so definitely give that a go. Took me a
while to get used to the change in relationship between the new volume
and distance of zombie, but after a few kills I didn't seem to be
wasting ammo by starting to pick off zombies while they were a long
way off.

I wonder whether the radar could be tweaked to omit a different chirp
when it locks onto zombies? Some thought would need to go into the
feature, I mean it's not like you could say it makes this sound when
it picks up on something that's alive with a zombie is it. An email I
just sent out to Aprone about growl sounds adjusting correctly mid
sound should help you out with the dogs if he can fix it.

Hello list and Jeremy.

I am writing, as my subject line indicates, about a bug and a request in Swamp.

The current version has a bug in the window eyes portion of the code.  When you 
pressed tab it probably cycled to window eyes and that was what caused it to 
freeze.  If you are trying to set it to Jaws, you can open your progress.ini 
file and change the first line to 3.  This is the same as if you had pressed 
tab until Jaws was selected, but this way you don't' have to pass through the 
broken window eyes option to get there.

a trillion copies of my mutorrent and widows process lol.
Also, anyway to change sapi voice? I can't seem to get to jaws support.
