Audio no, but there is a text walkthru in the articles room on audiogames.net that has all the directions to finishing the game. It's actually so short I'm surprised people haven't finished it, then again some of the puzzles are a little obscure, albeit not quite as bad as some games of this type. Go to the pet store, talk to the professor, inspect the sign, take the balloons, go to the village. Go to the antique shop, talk to the shop owner, go to the village. Go to the library, inspect the books until you find the rain dancing book, you will not have to take the book because it will put the book automatically in your inventory, go to the village. Go to the antique shop, talk to the store owner and select "yes" to take care of the termites left arrow will spray the termites on the left, up arrow will spray the termites in front, right arrow will spray the termites to the right, After you have taken care of the termites she'll give you some stakes which you will not have to take it because it will be put in your inventory automatically, go to the village. Go to the antique shop, inspect the desk, go to the village. Go to Lily's house, inspect the desk, inspect the secret drawer, you'll find a key take the key, use the key with the trunk, take the pistol and map, go to the village. Go to the antique shop, talk to the store owner and select yes and take care of the termites again, she'll give you some silver bullets which you will not have to take them because they will be put in your inventory automatically, go to the village. Go to the road that leaves the village, take the flowers, now go ahead and use the pistol with the silver bullets, use the rope with the hook, when you use the items together you are combining them so they can work together, when you get stuck in a battle with witches, vampires, and werewolf's, you move the crossfire to your left by pressing left, you move the crossfire in front of you by pressing right arrow if the crossfire is to the left and pressing the left arrow if crossfire is on your right, you move the crossfire to the right by pressing right, if you are playing the game on hard you have to move the crossfire one extra place which is far left and far right, to select the correct weapon for the enemy you press down until you have select the right one, to attack your enemy you press the up arrow, the stakes sounds like wood and they are for the vampires, the pistol sounds like a click and it is use with the werewolf's, and the water balloons are for the witch they sound like a water sound. Now I will tell you how to get the water balloons, go to the swamp, use balloons with swamp which will turn the balloons into water balloons, use the bottle with the swamp which will make a bottle of water, go ahead and use the bottle of water with the flowers which will make perfume, go to the road. Go to the big tree, use the rope and hook with the big tree, take the branch that fell, go to the road. Go to the swamp, use the branch with the raft, just like the termite in the antique shop left will attack the alligator on your left, up will attack the alligator in front, and right arrow will attack the alligator to the right. When you are done battling the alligators you will come to the other side of the swamp. After the hermit talks to you, use the candle with the campfire, use or go to the raft, battle the alligators again until you have gotten back to the swamp, go to the road. Go to the big tree, use the lit candle with the lantern, go to the road. Go to the village, go to the pet store, talk to the professor, select yes, he'll give you some jars which will automatically go in your inventory, go to the village. Go to the road, go to the big tree, use the lantern, use the left and right arrows to move the crossfire and the up arrow to catch the bugs, the bug hunt works just like when you are fighting the werewolf's, witches, vampires. After catching the bugs, go back to the pet store and talk to the professor, select yes, and go back to the big tree. Hi. I actually found the grave puzzle very easy, and I think have only once failed to get it first round. It's just the same as mastermind really. Ding means one right in right place, low ping means one right but in wrong place, and blerp type sound means wrong. The only really hard thing about the puzzle, is realizing that it is! mastermind your playing, and what the sounds mean, but this was actually one case where being told the information wasn't absolutely necessary. Hi Kieth. Spoilage ahoy! You need to firstly go to lilly's house and check everything including the chest and the desk the gun should be there. Then go to the antique shop, there will be a knew item, and the antique dealer may give you another task, look at the new item then go back to lilly's, then if the antique dealer didn't give you another job to do, go and talk to her again. That should get you the gun and the bullits. Then, go look at the tree, and get the branche, you should then be able to get beyond the swamp. I wander dark if that responce is an autoresponder. I think I have had just about enough of this. However, this gives me a desperate though probably simple thing. We have tried everything possible. We threaten to upload the games, till we get a responce. We upload them and several people post them. Now they must respond, If they don't then we know they just don't care. If they do, we ask them why. Maybe dump all the messages/ topics, and everything sent over the years since 2005 or whatever including all the missed orders and lost stuff, etc on them and see what happens. We can also I don't know threaten to black list them or something from the forum or something though my plan hasn't got that far. Its an outragious and hoky idea, but whats left. I think we have used all the ideas. They must have seen our friendship messages surely. I mean we havn't really flamed them at all. I think we have been more than patient. We have been hearing about a mythical version of Chillingham II since 2004 or so and have heard no audio trailers, no game demos, and no news letters either. So I'll believe it if and when I see it. People have been trying to convince them to go the download route for years with no success, and that was even wen you could actally get them to respond. ZBt in recent years the only way to get them to respond was to suggest that their games should be made abandonware, and even then the response was simply something along the lines of please do not do this. I agree. They had a good thing going, with their first game. I don't like Chillingham, but if they plan to do a swuel, I'll get it to know what happened. I think it would have been great if they had downloadable versions, and am starting to wonder if the company needs new management. They work okay if you've already registered the vb libraries, have direct x 8 on your machine etc. Jim kitchin's games do this, however it wouldn't be difficult for Bavisoft to have their games do this on installation too, sinse obviously if someone played their games without trying any other audio games and they didn't work they wouldn't know how to fix them. As to the gg story, yes, it does end, though it's really not as interesting a story as chillingham, and more as I said a framing sequence for the games' action and casino games. Beware the gRue! Unfortunately Michael that's one of life's great mysteries! Bavisoft have been incredibly uncommunicative for years and it's uncertain whether they've done any developement at all, even converting their current games to run on windows vista and 7, or having the games downloadable instead of relying on this rather out of date Cd system. Even in matters such as lost orders Bavisoft haven't got back to anyone very often. i've tried communicating with them myself on several occasions to ask what they are doing, but have had no response. As far as I'm concerned they're a dead company. Beware the grue! Hi Shaun, The organ puzzle is a bit complicated as it goes. It is not the order of notes in relative pitch to one another (this note is higher than this note) but actuallythe note that the parrot sings. That was one of my problems, the parrot would sing out a note that aws, say, G, then, Say, a D, but Iwould play the G in the wrong place... Really, it is a bit confusing, though it is doable. S P O I L E R If you haven't already done it, head to the library and inspect the books until you take one. Then leave the village and go toward the swamp. Use the book you took from the library with the whistle the professor gave you. You should have it by this point. Then catch the frog that appears (tricky but doable), and use the one other potion you should have on him. Then take him to the church. Use the frog on the organ lady, then inspect the organ. You should get the key. If you don't, try attempting to use the organ. You should get a loose organ key. Then you need to head to the library and use the hermitting book Bil gave you. You should get the organ repair manual in exchange. Take it back to the church and use the manual with the organ key. Then use the organ key with the organ and it's ready to play. If you want help with this part, head to the pet shop and try to tempt that parrot with some of what old bill gave you after you cured him. He'll whistle a melody. Play that on the organ and go through the door. Take what you find. If you want more you can Email me, but this should get you fairly set on your way. the answer to both is "We don't know" chillingham certainly isn't freeware sinse at least theoretically it's stil being sold as bavisoft's site is stil up. Whether they're sending out orders or not I don't know, but officially both games are most distinctly not freeware. As to chillingham 2, sinse 1 imho had one of the most inconclusive plots to any audiogame ever, I'd love to see 2. Afterall, all we really know is that there's some fellow called lord chillingham involved somewhere, and that Lilly was in his house. But the actual appearence of Chillingham 2 seems less and less likely with each passing year, even given the 4 year release gap betwene Grizly and chillingham. Sad. Beware the Grue! Like Grizly gulch, the hard setting has five way instead of three way combat, pluss some sequences like the aligator smacking and the hermit sneezing simon are longer, while others like the frog and bug catching are faster. Hello. When you make it to the camp, your task is to listen to everything the hermit is doing and repeat the things. In order to do that, you must know which key on the keyboard does which action. If I remember correctly, you can always get help by pressing space. He will be doing a few things, and you have to do everything he does without making a wrong move. After completing this, the hermit will help you continue the game. However, if you think you cannot complete it, you can always press f5 to go to the next task. This is as much as I can remember. I don't have Chillingham, but from the review I heard it's very similar to playing Simon. You hear a sound, then you got to press the correct key associated for the sound, and it goes on and on until a certain length is reached. Hi Ron. You need to be able to play the organ, but the lady in the church is playing it, so use the frog on the lady to attempt to scare her off. I was here when Chillingham was released, and I'll tell you, Bavisoft only released one update patch for Grizzly Gulch. As far as I remember Dark, they were. Then again I only had to wait about six months between the time I ordered Grizzzly and the release of Chillingham.
