Hi Shaun, As I said before Mysteries of the Ancients and Mysteries of the Ancients 3D are separate products. So yes you will have to buy them separately if you want them both, and I don't think I'm being unreasonable doing it this way either. Mainstream companies do it all the time. For example, take Tomb Raider Legend. There are three versions of the game I know of. There is the third-person version for the PC which I own. There is also a side-scroller version for smart phones. There is another third-person version for the Playstation II. So three versions of the same game, for three different platforms, and all sold separately. So that's how i plan to do it for the most part accept I am going to make the keys for the side-scroller version compatible between Mac, Linux, and Windos releases to not only save me work but allow the same user to use the game on multiple platforms. When will a version of the sidescroller if possible, then be out for mac? I assume that the initial release which I can understand entirely will just be windows and Linux? Hi William, I don't really know when we will be releasing a Mac version. We are developing one, of course, but it largely hasn't been tested on Mac. The reason we have not as yet released a Mac build on our website is I don't own a Mac personally and don't have a Mac system to use for development and testing. So when we decided to work on the Mac version of the game we will be out sourcing the project to an other developer, who knows the Mac better than we do, who will perform the compilation and create the Mac setup package. However, I can e-mail her today and see if she can do a build of beta 16 this week for you guys. If she is available to do it perhaps I can put a Mac OS build up this weekend for you guys to play with. Sound ok to you? Hi Will, Unfortunately, no. The 3d version is falling further and further behind the current production release. In part becaus it took me several months to get the cross-platform engine ready only to find it doesn't work on Windows, and have had to roll the Windows versions back to beta 13 and start upgrading from there. Right now I'm trying to get the side-scroller version ready for Christmas and then once it is done work on the 3d version.
