Hi,
When you say, "you have Windows XP because you hate anything later than
that," does this include Windows 7? Have you tried Windows 7? If so let
us know why you hate it? If not how can you judge?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic, rude, etc, but I just wanted to
illustrate the point if you mean
Hi Jason,
Yeah, guess I have been pretty darn lucky with not ever having any hard drive
crashes. Don't know why I've burnt up the CPU a few times. Actually I do, but
never mind.

Hi Jim,
I'm not sure of the exact version of Windows XP you have, but this is
what I have personally noticed. If you take Windows XP, with SP2 already
installed, and don't put a lot of other third-party applications on it
it will run great for a long time. The second you begin adding all kinds

Would like to see if someone can get your games running
Hi Jim,
In all fairness, hard drive crashes are hardware errors. The fact that you
haven't had one is probably just statistical luck. Out of the box XP (or any
Windows in recent memory) is far worse stability wise than a fully updated
one. That said, I completely agree with "if it isn't broke, don
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for sharing with me what works for you on your computers.
You know I have been running one computer or another since 1980. I have never
had a virus, never had a hard drive crash, never had to redo a hard drive, I
almost never have to reboot either of the computers that I
Hi Jim,
Other than the fact .NET Framework 1.1 creates an extra user acccount
you can delete I don't foresee any problems installing the .NET
Framework. The .NET Framework is just a set of libraries that run
C-Sharp and Visual Basic 2003, 2005, and 2008 applications. I've sold
about 200 copies
y extentions of windows, so
the chances of them messing anything up in and of themselves is almost nil.

Hi Che,
Yes, I remember that you sent me a demo of Rail Racer. Truthfully I have not
tried it. I never installed any net framework on either of my computers. This
one might have it though. So I might have to try installing the game. I do
not up date my computers with the newest Microsoft
