Hi Jim, In all fairness, hard drive crashes are hardware errors. The fact that you haven't had one is probably just statistical luck. Out of the box XP (or any Windows in recent memory) is far worse stability wise than a fully updated one. That said, I completely agree with "if it isn't broke, don't fix it".
