Hello to Robyn and Brandon. I would like to say hello to you, and to any new list members. My name is Raul Gallegos and I am also a Window-Eyes user. I live in Fort Wayne Indiana where I work for GW Micro. Although I don't post much of late on the list, I am here and I monitor things. If you have any questions about games, or anything game related, just ask. Everyone here is a swell bunch, and everyone likes playing games *smile*. Obviously since they are here, right? Anyway, I like playing most types of games, from the text adventures, to the arcade style, to the strategic type. Take care. I am totally blind and live In Louisiana. My screen reader of choice is Window Eyes, however I will use Jaws for certain things. I mostly enjoy the shooter/action type games. I also play muds although I usually stick to one or two and don't really try out a lot of different ones. I pretty much stick to Alter Aeon and Miriani. I'm in the process of ordering Judgment Day but I haven't heard back from L-Works yet and am getting a bit concerned about that. That's it if I want to keep it short. yes I have and it works great. by the way greg, you should give audio game maker a try www.audiogamemaker.com . then you can make your own audio games. it's free software and you don't need to know a thing about programming languages as it's all done through menus and things. Hi, I am one of the lists co-moderators as the well as the lead developer for USA Games. I'd just like to welcoem to to the list, and you should get plenty of answers to your emails. However, I might make one suggestion. When asking questions about games each game should have it's own email. For example, if you have questions about Sarah it should have something to do with Sarah in the subject and have stuff related to Sarah in the email. If you also have questions about Technoshock you might want to create a separate email with Technoshock in the subject line and stuff related to Technoshock in the body of the message. The primary reason for separate emails for different games is those who have no interest in the other games can simply pass up the questions they don't know or have no interest in. A Sarah fan who has no interest in Technoshock probably doesn't want to waid through several questions about TS to find out what you were asking about Sarah. If the situation was reversed the TS fan who has no interest in Sarah doesn't want to read a bunch of Sarah related stuff to read about Technoshock in the same message. Hi and thanks for your welcome, well, I just managed to record my microphone and the game sound at the same time. I selected the stereomix in the volume controls. The problem ist, when I select stereomix there, my microphone is recorded, but very quiet only, though my microphone boost is activated, my microphone volume is at 100 % and my stereomix volume is at 5 % only When I select the microphone in the volume controls however, I have the sound from the microphone loud enough, but the game sound is no more recorded. ok. step 1. go to volume control. step 2. go to properties. and then proceed to select stereo mix. next, go back to properties and select playback, don't press enter yet though. press tab. there is a menu with a bunch of checkboxes that will be displayed in the main window to control. make sure microphone is checked. if not, then check it, and press enter. look around, microphone will be there. uncheck the checkbox that says, mute. it should work. regards, aaron ___ Gamers mailing list .. Hi and welcome! I use Adobe Audition for recordings, but it works the same. I turn on the Stereomix in Volume Control when I want to record something of What you hear. (Well, actually I use my hardware mixer, but that's offtopic.) Can't you record the microphone when you do so? I've currently just downloaded the judgement day game, haven't explored it extensively yet, but, i'll get round to it. My favourite other game is the draconis entertainment pinball selection, i think you may like those.
