That's what I figure, too. It's a shame that some will vote with their hearts

My point is exactly that. Forget Steve for a second. Why do some coaches play
with their vote and vote for friends, likable guys, alma mater, etc?
I mean, if they considered the facts (or stats), looked at the comparison of
playing in the Big12 as opposed to playing in the SEC, margin of
SOS is VERY loyal to his friends. Stoops was a Spurrier hire and led the
defense to our first national championship in 1996. He's also loyal to his
alma mater.
I think he is going to loose on this picking order, however. UF is going to
beat Oklahoma.

Well, I think SOS is also a reasonable person. He explained his vote this
way: both are one loss teams; Oklahoma lost to Texas, while UF lost to Ole
Miss.

Have any of you stopped to consider that with SOS's knowledge of offensive

Not specific to SOS, but I have a problem with this line of thinking.
If two teams have identical schedules with the same ranked and
unranked teams, and Team F loses to an unranked team and Team O to a

Mr. Two Bits might be a bit much to say - I'd go with one of the shorter ones.
There are a lot of dogs named Gator - even older ones, Tebow would be more
unique.
How about adding Harvin to the mix? Don't think that would be a duplicate at

Yes. Choose the one you want to be shouting on a foggy evening around you

well either. I'd rather shout, Here, Tebow! at 2:00 am.

I like Mr. Two Bits. It not only fits the sort of personality that a cocker
puppy would have (whimsical and playful), but (as John noted) the two bits
part fits for a two-color dog. Of course you wouldn't say all that as a
call name, but it gives you 'two bits' or just 'bits' for a call name, so

When naming a dog, don't use a name with an 'o' sound on the end. Sounds
too much like no. Makes it more difficult to train. The general
suggestion is to use a name with an e sound, so Timmy or Percy would work.
Two Bits is good, you will end up shortening it to TBit, or Bits anyway.

As I recall, Stoops tuned Florida down when SOS resigned. He did it again
when Zook was invited to pursue other coaching opportunities.
