Thanks to all participating.
Due to response from Datastax legal rep, this proposal at this moment
considered "hostile" fork and hence no longer open for discussion.

The expectation is that all podlings site should have "Team" page to list
all PPMCs and committers.
But I understand the confusion, because I do not see it mention in podling
site guide [1] nor any top level guide
Also, the statement kind of hint that you no longer need to update the
table once

I recommend the Fluo PPMCs to go back and work it out with trademarks and
the Mentors of the podling.
Even some of top level projects have problems regarding their trademarks,
and the incubator should be the place to learn what is needed to learn how
to protect the project trademarks.

I would strongly suggest to find more balance mentors.
I know we had this discussion about "fake" diversity stuff, but I strongly

Thanks Julian for catching the error.

I second that. Most Hadoop related projects have this strict RTC policy,
so committers from those projects try to implement it to other
projects they are involve with.

Glad to have the proposal :)
Immediate glance would show almost all, including mentors, are coming from
Cloudera. I think it would be beneficial for the podling to have at
least mentors from different org to provide bit of balance.

Hi Todd,
One concern, other IPMCs could help correct me if I am wrong, for
project that already open source and accepting contributions from
individuals which not part of initial committers is that it needs to
get the consent or grant from those contributors when moving to ASF.

Recent example was the MySos proposal, it is MySQL in Mesos, which
renamed to Cotton before officially entering incubator.
I think it would be easier for infra if the name is decided a bit
early to something that have better chance to pass incubation.

Kylin did have successful releases without licensing issue: 0.7.1 and 0.7.2.
Especially with 0.7.1, the community did another re-VOTE to address
Justin concern about license issue:
+1 for doing v1.1.1 to avoid re-use release version.

As part of supporting the mentors engagement to codlings to give more
attentive help and mentoring, I have decided to resign from being
Apache Geode mentor.
I will update the podlings.xml file and Geode incubation page to
reflect this change.
