I'm running Gimp v. 1.0.4 and I was just wondering, Is it possible to
change the Splash Screen Image that comes up while gimp is loading?

GIMP 1.1.28 is out there, and it has shoes too!

Changes are pretty much all bug fixes. Note, for packagers especially,
that system-dependant configuration files (gimprc and friends) have
moved to $sysconfdir.

Choose the picker tool, then open the tool dialog, select "Sample
