Hi all, I have Gimp 2.8.22 installed afresh on a new [replacement] internal HD
running OSX v10.13.5. Untill now I have been using Gimp 2.8.16 from a separate
[external] bootable drive. I noticed when I test booted the new installation of
Gimp that I would like to import the Gimp window
I too, often receive bursts of 'late' messages but today[April 10, 2018] is
exceptional. I had 100 messages waiting in my inbox. The earliest of which is
dated March 15, 2018 with the subject line 'How to print'. Ironically, this is
dated the same as yours!

A better way (if I remember correctly) is to right click on Gimp.app and select
open from the context menu. You will then get a warning dialogue asking if you
want to open the app (or not). Slelect Open to launch app.

I've added your comments to the bug, but can't help much more than that
since I don't use a Mac or Safari.

I have been searching for how best to close a path where an end node is on top
of a start node.
One work-around is to not place the end node on the start node, so that the
path can be closed in the usual way, and then move what had been intended to be
the end node on top of the start node.
Gary,
You cannot actively colour manage a workflow unless you have colour calibrated

Look for the ColorMatching control to select correct colour

A media teacher ought perhaps to know the answer.
The short answer may be to increase the resolution (number of pixels per unit).
This will down scale the image without removing any data.
