I'm having the same issue.
Running Gimp 2.10.10 and i've been working on 16 bit TIF that i've exported from
another software, all worked fine; then all of a sudden it stopped working.
so i troubleshooted and decided to uninstall and reinstall the software. still
no luck after that.

displays this issue and when imported as Image it works as expected.
Maybe I need to better understand layers.

I had this same mapping/tracking issue (On my windows 10 OS). I found that Gimp
needs to be running on a monitor that has the windows scale and layout setting
set to 100% (I had it set to 125%). You'll need to restart Gimp after the

I have a Huion H610PRO tablet and I can't get pen pressure to work. If I leave
the all the tablet related things set to disabled in the input settings it will
work as a mouse just fine, but that means no pen pressure.

it to close - in 2.8 you would just get the cursor close to the first point that
you picked and click on it when it highlighted, or you could do a double-click

The best advice is, if CMYK is required, start and finish using CMYK.

application such as Krita and export the converted cmyk jpeg.
I would like to use a photo, then use the fill tool and a low threshold, so that
it fills only the contours. But after the feeling I want to delete the photo and
only keep the fillings. How could I do that? Because if I have a new layer, it
doesn't work with the filing, as there are not contours,
Hey folks. Newish to Gimp and trying to load a custom Font family (Geomanist)
that I'm having some problems with. Can anyone explain how GIMP names custom
fonts being loaded. I'm seeing some fonts loading but GIMP renames the original
font name (I've used Font Forge to find all the font info
