Hello all-- I have a jpg which I would like to blur the background (focus blur I guess) - But I would like the blur to be gradual - when I have done this in the past the line between blurred and unblurred is too sharp. I have tried the feather selection, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

The plugin that you have posted at deviantart is this one http://refocus.sourceforge.net/which is designed to Sharpen an image or if an image is blurred to take the blur away.  The Focus blur plugin adds blur to an image.  Your plugin is not what I am looking for.  An example of the plugin is h
