It's discussed in the Players' books where being wounded in battle or
tortured during an investigation is a distinct possibility. A character
loses a hand and Nick and his friend Humfrey talk about how they would
react in the same situation (not as well as the masterful George who is
rather more casual about it than I would be !). And a minor character
(another Merrick) copes very well with being hung, drawn and quartered.

No, Spike is great. Angel just mopes around, full of angst. And his eyes
are too close together.

Re: [GO] Buffy/Jonathan

2004-11-13 Thread KAIT BESSING
Huh. The disadvantages of being partially sighted. I don't recognise actors
from one episode to the next (except the main ones), so I'd no idea he'd
appeared so often!

Yes, I've seen him in all those episodes, but never realised he was the same
guy.

Thanks for explaining it all.

So what about the other two, Warren and Whatsisname - have they been around
before? One of them created the robot Buffy - or was that Jonathan again??

I loved Buffy and Angel together, but since they can't be, I really want the
Buffy/Spike thing to work. Spike is certainly a great character with lots of
charisma, I can understand why they brought him back!

Re: [GO] Buffy

2004-11-12 Thread KAIT BESSING
I never see any titles of the Buffy episodes, so I never know where I am when
titles are mentioned.

(Of course, the Swedish sub-titles may cover them up, as they do all the guest
starring names.)

I thought Tara's death was extremely sad, too. I just never saw it coming!

We're on the last season here in Sweden. There can't be many episodes to go as
everything is falling apart.
