Does the installed package include the C sources for GnuCash and all of its dependencies, or at least a text file indicating exactly what releases are used for each? Failing that my comments apply to it as well. If you're looking for reassurance that you found the right repository for

Like us PortableApps is using SourceForge only as a download site. The source code there is 8-10 years old. There's newer source at https://github.com/PortableApps, some of which seems up to date but mostly not: The GnuCash package at

I agree with Fred Bone's comments about the portable version. You might be clicking on some ad-driven thing or maybe going far afield. I think you are not getting to the right website to download portable Gnucash. There is one site on SourceForge "brought to you by Rayven01 that seems pretty

Anyone can run https://portableapps.com/apps/office/gnucash_portable in Windows without installing it. It is probably better than installing GnuCash on your computer. It also allows you to install a dev version on your computer without messing up the working version. I still think you would be

Wow, does the state pay for your CPAs time doing that rekeying? That's a major reason I'm looking at this. I want them to have instant access, easy navigation, searching, and cross referencing, without having to run what I call "hostageware" -- you all know, I'm sure, to which organizations I'm
