airport? Should it be constructed at Mopa? Or, should the Dabolim airport be
further developed to suit Goa's needs?

Have just received our latest Goa Today magazine and read the Cover Story on
the garbage problem - which of course has been ongoing for quite a while. It
is great that this problem with its obvious health and environmental
hazards as well as the complacency
As regards the following passage in the Bharat Times report «to celebrate
Goan identity, gained with the recognition of Konkani on August 20, some 18
years ago», kindly note that what happened (more than) 18 years ago, not on
August 20 but on February 4, was the passing of the Official Language
Many posts have been written on this subject. None that I read, quoted the
total number of flights to land / take off from Dabolim. Most airports with
one run way should be able to land a plane every 15 minutes - AT LEAST. So A
MINIMUM OF 240 planes a day CAN USE THE AIRPORT between 6 AM and

Its been a few months since the new, so called low cost carriers, began
operations out of Dabolim. But it is only now that HERALD has been able to
make space in its time table page for Kingfisher Airlines' flight
information. For some unknown reason it still keeps SpiceJet's info out of
this
