Well the others have already said; stop defending the indefensible, and now
'apologise' to all the affected parties.
Nascy Caldeira,
Roland has not understood or does not want to understand how vile his comment
the affected parties.

Hello,
I am Nigel, I wrote the article in the Times of India. I agree with FN,
Cecil and other who have taken a very practical view of the subject. It's
absolutely disgraceful how one poster has made imputations against Lorna

Dear Cecil,
Aside from me giving overseas Goans a bad name by hurling brickbats at Lorna
for non-cooperation in a film about the 60s and 70s Goan music scene and Goan
musicians, I take it you endorse her signing an agreement with the film-makers
and reneging on it one week later.
Cheers equally
To call it a "verbal brickbat" is an understatement. We're just raking up
issues about a singer's personal life, which has nothing to do with her
talent and achievements. Come on, all of us have our ups and downs in life,
and our regrets. Does that give license to someone to demand that we

FN, look at it this way. She has the right to non-cooperation with the film
makers and I have the right to hurl a verbal brickbat at her for it.
What would you have done in her place? Let the film-maker tell the story the
best way he sees it or fully cooperate and get it done with your input?
W
Roland, I think this is rather unfair. We cannot force anyone to cooperate
in baring their soul and narrating their life story... however much in
"public interest" this is seen. Everyone is a free individual and well
within their rights to decide which parts of their life they'd want to
retain the
