There are very distinct points :
- easyness of installation of gregorio
- use of gregorio : now there are 2 ways to use gregorio : LaTex and
Scribus. People who wants to use gregorio must invest in one of these 2
ways. It must be thought of other ones, for exmple, I have used with big

Well, my experience - but it is mine, and I cannot extrapolate - is that
the people I get interested in singing gregorian are all people that had
some musical education, and therefore are used at singing from full scores.

I feel that GUI, more than that we have now, is not a good idea(1), but
what I am sure, is that a GUI is another project.
This is indeed a very important point: Gregorio will never integrate a

Dear Alexandres,
I think this is a very good idea, there is some work that need to be
done on this side, and it will be a very good first step. We'll see how
things evolve, but this could very well reach 2.4.
Thank you,

Dear all,
singing the Liturgy of the Hours in parish presents another problem than just
knowing how to sing gregorian from the Antiphonale Romanum.
Think of that : until 1980, the Antiphonale was realised BEFORE the books with
only a reading version. But, since the last Council, the books for
Dear all,
as I see, the things round Gregorio speed up a lot in the last
days/weeks. It would be very interesting for me, too, to have the
ancient neumes included as proposed. As for now, I don't have much time
to spend on NotatioAntiqua, but I think it would be possible to improve
