driven cam belts.
I guess all that I'm saying is that I bet the technology to make the
belts stronger and last longer has improved over the years and that they
might last a bit longer than one would suppose.

Check the radiator cap. If it even slightly loose, it will do some of
the things you have indicated. It might also be worn out. (The springs
fatique inside, reducing the pressure the cap requires.)

Yeah. I like the stock setup.
I'm 5'9" but I find the position to be comfortable even on long cruises.
I have, however, noticed something that might have to do with the
comfort level.
I am not a thin person so often my stomach 'rests' on the tank which
allows my arms and wrists to not have to

There are some companies that make rifle holders that you can bolt to
your bike with brackets. It would seem that a little adjustment to the
racks and you could carry the foils with ease. Or pool sticks, fishing
rods, rifler., 9 irons...;^)

I would be guessing here, but it kind of sounds like loose wires if
everything is blinking. Perhaps you have a loose connection somewhere,

My experience has been, that when the bike 'falls' over, (DOH!), mine
has usually landed in a 3 point stance. The rubber piece at the knee

along with my walkman which plugs into it. It has a seperate jack just
for that. The music will mute when transmitting or recieving. You can
also hook up a passenger unit to it, although I've never done it. (No

I would like to make a GTS more sporting and so I am looking at
mostly shaving weight and adding horsepower. Maybe
at the bottom, although with the dark
tint, you can't tell. If you got a clear, you might want to paint that
in like the stocker is painted.
Otherwise, exact replacement! And the flare at the top is more gradual,
unlike the stocker.
