Who can help me with information about and a contact address to Radio
Balcania, transmitting from Beograd, Serbia on 1699 kHz? Sounded like a radio
amateur with twoway contacts (I could not hear the other), like a Dutch pirate
station. ID's in English and Serbo-Croat.

On January 19 at 1040 UTC, 6050 KHZ, I picked up, a Spanish
(I think) speaking station with birds chirping at the top and bottom of the
hour. I know that I've seen posts on this site mentioning chirping birds but
the station eludes my memory. I did an internet

On February 16th 2007 I heard an African station on 1044 kHz, playing HoA
music. Although never confirmed by the station itself, several DX-ers found out
that I had heard the new Mekele station in Ethopia. In the 2008 edition of WRTH
there is a note about the station starting in

Well no point in sticking around. Compared to last night, conditions are
dismal. Tonight, 6792.5 is heard at 20 dB at best above the noise floor, with
the moon bounce still audible weakly most times. Sounds a lot like the 2nd
hour did on 7 megs last night. I don't think I'll bother to stick
