Curious you endorse Acer yet talk of avoiding HP despite knowing Envy's are well thought off T? We've gone around and around for years about Acer but I'd have to really strongly disagree on HP being anything but great choices unless you're in the sub $800 market shopping @ Best Buy or Walmart.
