I'm doing a summer book group with a theme of Jewish children in
survival mode after immigrating to another country. Book choices so far are:

Baltimore Hebrew University is to be acquired by Towson University (a
state university located just outside of Baltimore, that until recently
was famous for having had a Shomer Shabbos Division I basketball player
for a while). This is "interesting" and probably in a good way.

It' s admirable that you' d like to share your library's resources
with members of the other synagogue and with your community at large.
Maintaining and staffing a library requires funding, however- -
software licensing fees, building overhead, book and supply
purchases, staff, etc.

Our synagogue has approximately 200 or so copies of Chaim Stern's
Gates of Heaven: services for children and their parents for the Days
of Awe. They are paperback books and in pristine condition. I will
send them anywhere for the cost of the postage. Any takers?

them. HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY LAG B'OMER BOOKS. That could be a
marketing opportunity.

Although it's not directly written for young kids, Celebrating the
Jewish Year: The Spring and Summer Holidays, by Paul Steinberg (edited
by Janet Greenstein Potter) has sections on both Shavuot and Lag B'Omer
which you should find helpful.
