Rick, 1) I think that's fixed. 2) I kinda like the idea of a simple tool that would tell them if the problem is on their end and not on valves, something simple that would show if they are actually connecting to the steam servers, and maybe an error msg with possible causes and links to help.

*hands you a valium*. Calm down bud, I think his point was he would rather see bugs and crashes fixed first. You should really be putting these ideas on the Wiki anyway, it has sections for bugs, feature requests, nitpicks, etc. -Smurf Date: Tue, 11 Oct 2005 14:47:44 -0700 From: Benjamin

Erik, Thank you for letting us know, we can quit bugging you now. I'm very happy to see Valve working on getting free content out via Steam. All these ideas for download links are nice, but still fall short of easy for the players and easy for the developers. Meaning, it's not as good as what

Hiya, I don't know much about cpp, and next to nothing of the HLSDK, but I will say this... In TFC you can toggle it so that you can mute people in the scoreboard, so there is some way to do that. You have to hold SHIFT and left-click a player's name to mute, then if you want to unmute you do it
