In all likely hood, he was banned by another plugin (Mani-Mod or some other Admin Service Tool) not VAC. VAC is said to take days or weeks and multiple cheating violations to get banned (Last I read). Check your LOG files, it will tell you there, or least it should. He is only VAC banned from

hlstatx does not tell VAC to ban someone. If he got banned by VAC, he probably deserved it. If he is truely innocent, and VAC has falsely banned yet another person, then your friend is screwed. He will need to go and buy another key. Did VAC ban him, or is he just banned form the server itself? H
