Is L4D2 supposed to match players to servers in other regions? We put up
20 servers in Europe and 90% of the players have 150-200+ ping, I traced
roughly 10 of the IP's and all of them are from the US. The sv_region is
set to 3.

Well, as far as the 'sticking to stock maps and you won't have any issues'
goes.. The screenshot I provided was taken just to the left of the 2nd point
in Badwater. I've also had the issue in Gravel Pit numerous times, and it's
become an inevitability on any map other then 2fort after 1 or 2
hello,
i've set the variable sv_steamgroup idnumber but if i start the game I
dont see a grouplisting for the server, even when i choose the menu to
play on steamgroups servers, it will say theres no groupserver present.
what could this be ? (the group owner says he can see it).
You can only see it if you are part of the group.

Here is a possible patch for the new found exploit. It hasn't been fully
tested yet though since I am only speculating on how this exploit is being
performed.
This plug-in will output a log event every time someone requests a file from
the server, whether it be a spray logo file or your

It seems they probably hit a bunch of servers but only picked on runs
running fakeclients, 4/5 of our tf2 servers had the cfgs downloaded 3 of
those had the fakeclients plugin and of which only 1 was hit, all had
the same rcons too.

In server.cfg I have:
sv_gametypes coop
In console I get:
sv_gametypes
sv_gametypes = coop ( def. )
So it looks like it is reading it from the cfg, but it doesn't lock the mode
like it does in L4D1. Is there something different we have to do to lock the
mode? IE how in L4D2 do we force it
On this note, does sv_steamgroup_exclusive work for anyone else? What
about sv_allow_lobby_connect_only? I had setup some test servers and it
didn't seem like the server was obeying these settings.
