I love hearing people whine about these things, though. See, the trick
they use is that the counter stops counting just before the last 'reward',
so think it just hasn't been clicked enough and keep spreading it around.
Fake link. Don't bother clicking. It's one of those stupid get clicks and
Hex editing CAN change the CRC, but with a weak error-detection system
like CRC it's not hard to avoid that if you know what you're doing. If all
you're trying to do is corrupt data then it's trivial at best.
The complete lack of integrity verification in CRC is one of the reasons I

If it's a GoldSRC game, then he might not be lying. I've seen D3D mode do
some *strange* stuff in my time, but Software mode takes the cake on that
on top of not even bothering to *try* rendering many different things.
For one thing, it's not uncommon for players and entities to be rendered

If you notice, the bulk of the list is servers hosted in former USSR
countries. Even if running a non-steam server was impossible, I really
doubt those people would pay for TF2. Valve might be able to do something
about the US, UK, and FR servers, but I don't think it's worth the effort.
That's
I'd like a verbose option that makes TF2 show much more information.
When loading from local files, if possible, individual filenames with GCF

Afaik, L4D's vote kick places a 5min ban on the kicked player so rejoining
is not possible. Vote ban would be the most abused feature ever, they will
never add that. Lastly, troll is not the right term for those players :P
Griefer or Tk'er would be.
The votekick ban doesn't seem to actually
There are quite a few outstanding issues regarding banning. The one that
most recently annoyed me is that L4D doesn't appear to allow players to
votekick based on SteamID, or showing time played, or showing total
friendly fire this map, or etc, and also does not allow players to voteban

As you know, a lot of people use the VoiceCom Play-From-File feature
(Heretofore refereed to as PFF) to do things like play music and
prerecorded sounds with the assistance of tools like HLSS and HLDJ. While
many people find this annoying, others rather enjoy it. Unfortunately for
everybody, the
That amounts to facilitating the listening of the music. Whilst the ability
is there but not encouraged Valve are probably ok. With tools about to play
music over the channels TECHNICALLY the people playing it need to be paying
royalties
There's already HLSS and HLDJ and such; this would
