I've just had this again. We had 24 players on the server. 22 people just
disconnected with no steam logon at the same time! This is becoming a more
regular occurrence and very annoying as this is just emptying our server.
Why is this happening?
The code error was 6

Same thing happened on my server two nights ago. It wasn't so many people,
but there were disconnections claiming No Steam Logon.

The new authentication (and re-authentication) system kicks you for not
being authenticated.
This has been discussed before on a topic I've created

I have updated my server, but the log file was not written at the time, as i
restarted the server when I first spotted that. Since then, I have browsed
the logs and have seen a lot of error codes 1 and 6 when people got that no
steam logon error.
But I have found another yesterday. 8 people

Hi,
Thanks so much for the cvar! Is there any other cvars for log files I don't
know about?

I have noticed some errors on my quick play Windows TF2 server. We are
getting an increased amount of people disconnecting of no steam logon. This
happens as a group within a second or two, and a server with 20-24 people
can go down to 8, 10 people very fast. I have no idea what is causing this.
A friend of mine just got disconnected from a server along with twenty or so
others. Myself and one other person were left. My friend said he was kicked
for sv_pure disagreeing with client.dll

This has been an issue for years, along with the VAC one. It's only gotten
rather bad recently.

Hi,
The problem with normal server logs is they don't save sometimes. Is there
any fix for that (in reference to /logs/ directory) ? Maybe some cvar's I can
set?
