do have a very good one in-house.
We even used it for distributed stuff (java, etc.) w/ BREEZE & CLOUD9

We use the base (free) product for source only - we never could figure out how
to do C compiles.
I'd suggest the full product and some expert help in getting you going.

Hi Scott,
We converted from CA Endevor to SCLM back in July 2011. After the initial
learning, about a month or two, we have not seen any problems.
If this is your first source control system there will be a large learning
curve. However, in the end you will have less errors more free time to
Good Luck.

Kurt,
We too, have a front-end in our build process to handle ++include members.
I just wish there was a parser sample, not written in rexx, that we could
compile and have sclm flag it at that time. We did try the rexx sample a few
years ago, and for one of the programs that has a large num

Panvalet was OK for its day, I guess. I do remember them charging a pretty buck
for the ISPF interface. We bought it but at the point we were also getting
geared up to drop the product.

I want to thank all of you in advance who might respond to my questions.
I am currently running SCLM and have programs that have ++include statements
imbeded in them to pull in file layouts, etc
The ++include is from a different library system, SCLM uses copy.

Thanks Rob. That solved my Problem#2 as well. Interesting that the
REXX translator has a few quirks. I'll have to take the time to fix
these but for now I just worked around them.
I noticed that:
1) It didn't recognize .* comments in macros (I did change FLMLRASM to
correct that one)
2) It does
Ken,
For (1), you add the SPMs as "opcodes" in the parser for HLASM.
Here at Rocket we use a modified version of the supplied REXX exec
FLMLRASM and add the SPMs into the "opcodes.i" stem variable.
