There are AWS employees all around the world, but not that many in India,
AFAIK.
(I just went to work for them a couple of months ago.)

OK, so how much of that is due to inherent differences between Windows and
z/OS and how much is due to a comparative lack of knowledge and expertise
in the black hat community about techniques to penetrate z/OS? I'm pretty
sure it's much more the former, but the question needs asking.

Nope. After some initial difficulties getting access, I'm now doing the 51

Mochasoft is really good about updates. I had purchased their TN5250
package more than 10 years ago, and got a free update recently. I was so
impressed I bought their TN3270, too.
I'd love to compare it to Vista, but I refuse to run Windows...

Doesn't look like it: the PC end of the cable has 4 rows of pins, and the
card has 3.

Not quite that lucky. I already have the P/370 card. I was more than just a
little surprised to find the channel emulator board in it!

I also have a Multiprotocol Adapter/A in the first P/370; not sure what
it's useful for, but I could use a cable for one of those, too.
