Has the format of 1700 KVNS (Brownsville TX) changed recently?
Prior to 0800 UTC on 1700 there was Latin music, an announcement in

Interesting. Rather than a format change, I wonder if this is an example of
ethnic brokered programming. Perhaps KVNS sells middle of the night air

Hi folks. I know this isn't a swap list, but thought someone here might
be interested. I have 2 Drake SPR-4 radios, and am thinking to sell one.
I know it's not an R8B, but these are good MW radios. I'm asking $250.
Radio works great, and is pretty much fully crystalled. Might consider a
swap
Curt,
This phenomenon is absolutely unique. I've not heard the like in 40 years
of MW DXing. It is intentional,
absolutely. A crystal oscillator does not behave this way unless its FMed.
And there are many Wobblers down there. It cannot be a coincidence.
I suspect it is an attempt at jamming.

Folks,
I am going back to hand-written logs like I used in olden days, simply

I don't keep my DX den in the same room as my workroom where our PC is; to
